COURSE OBJECTIVES
Participants will learn to:
- Innerstand the moral and proverb of The Sun and the Wind.
- Innerstand the symbolic structure of Aesop’s fable
- Explore Igbo cosmology and selected Alụsị as character archetypes.
- Translate abstract forces into Igbo spiritual cosmology
- Translate mythic elements into modern narrative settings.
- Adapt sacred archetypes into modern contexts
- Develop symbolic, layered characters rooted in spirituality.
- Create contemporary moral tale grounded in spirituality
- Maintain the spine, the spirit and integrity of the story and its proverb
- Produce a contemporary adaptation written and spoken.
