Here is vital travel information to support your attendance to the Nne Agwu Afrakan Storytelling Festival 2018. 


Venue: BEARS WOOD Osward, Courtwood Lane,Croydon, CR0 9HJ


PRIVATE VEHICLES - This will help you plan your journey. When using Sat Nav type in  CR0 9HJ it will bring you Bears Wood Campsite, the entrance to the Nne Agwu Afrakan Storytelling Festival 2018. There will be stewards to direct you to parking. Go to the WELCOME TENT. There will be signs to help you along the way.

PARKING: Parking is limited therefore there is parking only for those holding a weekend pass. Day visitors must park on court wood lane.


SLEEPOVER: If you fancy a one night sleepover, we offer a communal sleeping space. Just bring a sleeping bag and or duvet, a tooth brush, a change of undies and some cash. The travel light with public transport are:


PUBLIC TRANSPORT - Catch a train to East Croydon station (Overground or British rail) then just outside the station catch the 433 bus. Ask the driver to direct you to Bears Wood scout camp. This will help you plan your journey click here for festival location. Walk in the direction the bus came only go straight down court wood lane past the primary school which is on the right and past the BearsWood bus stop which is on the left. There is a sign directing you to turn left up a small hill then right to the Bears wood campsite. 


On Arrival go to the WELCOME TENT there you will find support, programme, health and safety information and beautiful smiling faces. There will be signs to help you along the way.
