Mate Masie

Knowledge is only as good as the nurturing nature of the seeds from which it grows.

In keeping with the phrase, ‘It takes a village to raise a child’, a popular phrase among our community, Shanti-Chi is launching a community lead home education group. Mate Masie means 'What I hear, I keep' and is the adinkra symbol for wisdom, knowledge and prudence. A child’s education is their tools for life and so taking control is crucial. It is our responsibility to ensure our leaders of the future are well equipped with knowledge and skills to fulfil their full potential and contribute positively to society. This home education group allows children to get a comprehensive education tailored to their needs, taught by well-experienced, passionate teachers and family contributions. Our approach exposes the holistic nature of education. Our tutors will work with parents to create unique programmes designed to challenge and excite children of all levels.
